Connecting Engaging Networks with Gravity Forms

If you’re using the Gravity Forms plugin, you can now integrate it with the Engaging Networks platform. This Add-On supports creating or updating basic supporter records, either as standalone or within the context of EN Page Builder pages.

Installation Via Search

  1. Log into your WordPress site as an administrator.

  2. In the left sidebar, select Plugins > Add New.

  3. Use the search bar to search “Gravity Forms Engaging Networks” and click Install Now.

  4. After the plugin is installed, click Activate.

Manual Installation

  1. Make sure your WordPress site has Gravity Forms installed and activated.

  2. Download Integration for Engaging Networks and Gravity Forms on wordpress.org.

  3. Log into your WordPress site as an administrator.

  4. In the left sidebar, select Plugins > Add New.

  5. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page and select the .zip file that you downloaded.

  6. A screen should display letting you know that the plugin was installed successfully. Click the Activate Plugin button.

Configuration

  1. Navigate to Forms > Settings in the WordPress admin.

  2. Click on “Engaging Networks” in the left hand column of that page.

  3. Enter your organization’s ID as well as a valid API key for your Engaging Networks account.

  4. Once you’ve entered your Engaging Networks (EN) account details, create a form or edit an existing form’s settings. You’ll see an “Engaging Networks” tab in settings where you can create a feed. This allows you to pick and choose which form fields you’ll send over to EN from the form, including the Page Builder page to assign responses to. You also have the option of setting some conditional logic to pick and choose which information gets sent.
