When providing SEO reports and information, there are terms that we will use that will be important to understanding their definition:

  • Keywords: The words and phrases used to optimize your web pages for what people are searching for in search engines

  • Organic Search Traffic: The number of visitors who come to your website from search engines. This number does not include paid search traffic from ads.

  • Domain Authority: A ranking score that predicts how likely a website is to rank in search engines. Domain Authority scores range from 1-100, with higher scores indicating a greater chance of ranking.

  • Search Visibility: The percentage of estimated clicks that your website receives based on your keyword ranking positions

  • Rankings (1-10): The number of keywords ranking in the top 10 positions or first page of results in search engines

  • Followed Linking Domains: The number of domains (other than your own) that contain follow links to your website, which indicate useful links for search engine crawlers to follow.

  • Search Engine Results page (SERP): The list of linked web pages (along with descriptions) that appears when you search for a word or phrase within a search engine.

  • Bounce Rate: The percent of visitors who only visit a single page before leaving your site. This metric helps us understand if we’re driving relevant and interested visitors to your website.
