What to Expect After Launch: Transitioning to Cornershop Support

Congratulations! Now that your project with Cornershop is officially launched, here’s what you can expect from Cornershop as we transition from the build phase into ongoing support and maintenance through your plan with Cornershop.

Maintenance Starts Right Away

If you’re on a support plan, we’ve already started monitoring and maintaining your site. You don’t need to lift a finger — we’ve got it covered.

Here’s what we’re doing in the background:

  • Weekly plugin and core updates

  • Daily backups

  • Ongoing security scans

  • Uptime and performance monitoring

You’re always encouraged to check your site on Wednesdays and Thursdays which is typically when updates are made, just in case a plugin update impacts how something displays or functions. Learn more about what’s included in our weekly updates process >>

Bug Reporting Period: First 30 Days

Even though we’ve done thorough QA and testing before launch, some issues may only appear once real-world users interact with the site. Our contracts cover addressing any bugs you find up to 30 days after launch. After that 30-day window, we’ll send an official “handoff” email and you’ll work directly with our support team moving forward. 

Ongoing Support

Once your site is officially handed off, our support team becomes your go-to resource. Any new or previously unreported bugs after those 30 days will be treated as support requests.

If you're on a Maintenance + Support or Priority plan, requests can be treated as a Fast Task free of charge as long as they fall within the limits of your plan. More information on Fast Tasks can be found here >>   

If a request goes beyond a Fast Task under your plan, you’ll get a discounted hourly rate for development work — or we offer a rush rate (double your hourly rate) if you need it sooner than our standard turn around time.

Not on a Support Plan?

No problem! If you’re on a Maintenance-only plan or don’t have one at all, you can still request additional work at our standard hourly rate. Just reach out to support@cornershopcreative.com to start the conversation or to inquire about getting a Support plan for ongoing assistance.
